Connecting during the Covid quarantine

#MentalHealthMondayThrough the ups and downs of the quarantine/isolation.... interestingly, connection can be both an "up" and a "down." It's obviously hard not being together in-person like we're used to, but let's look at how we CAN connect right now.I feel so blessed that we live in a time where technology makes it so easy to communicate with each other, even while we're forced to be apart: email, text, social media, video chats, virtual meetings, emojis, memes, GIFS, etc. I can’t imagine going through this crisis without all of these things (and more) at my fingertips. 🦄I've been able to connect with all of you here, with my friends and family who aren't on social media, with everyone who helps me keep my website running smoothly, with my Beautycounter team, with my therapist... and more!I'm not saying we don't need that in-person connection - we most definitely DO! But during a time where we can't have it, I'm so grateful these other forms of communication exist. ‍‍‍How about you? What connections are you grateful for right now? Share them in the comments below! ️Remember, whatever you’re feeling during this time is valid. But... if you're really struggling with your mental health, please get help: My partner, @mentalhealthamerica has a Crisis Text Line with Crisis Counselors ready to help you cope. Text MHA to 741741.MHA also has a new website with lots of resources and information to help during the pandemic. Just click on the link in my bio and go to the "Mental Health America COVID-19 Support" button.Take good care. xx#ichoosebeauty #coronaviruspandemic #coronaviruschallenge #coronapandemic #pandemic2020 #feelyourfeelings #anxietysupport #anxietymanagement #anxietyisreal #lookforthelight #healingjourney #healingtools #healingyourself #healingfromwithin #healingpower #mentalhealthsupport #mentalhealthisimportant #mentalhealthtips #mentalhealthhelp #mentalhealthjourney #mentalhealthcare #mentalhealthadvice #mentalhealthisreal #mentalhealthcommunity #mentalwellness #mentalhealthishealth
