Mental Health During the Holidays

#MentalHealthMonday:.I saw a great message about the holiday season from my partner, @MentalHealthAmerica, that really resonated with me, so I wanted to pass it on to you... I know sometimes when I'm feeling down, I don't want to reach out to people because I feel like I may be a burden. This is such an important time of year to check in on your friends and family, and tell them what you love about them. ️."Sometimes the holidays can be especially hard for people. The holidays can cause some to feel anxious or depressed despite all the decorations and festivities. Some feel pressure to impress friends and family. Others may find their anxiety increases when they travel. And for others, family time is sometimes tainted by unwanted conversations or a toxic relative, some people don’t have anyone to spend the holidays with, or some are reminded of a lost loved one. It’s important to let your friends and family know you care." .You just never know how much your kindness can help someone, and give them hope at just the right time. xxoo Sahar..........#ichoosebeauty #mentalwellness #mentalhealthawareness #mentalhealthmatters #mentalhealthsupport #depressionrecovery #mentalhealthadvocate #mentalhealthblog #mentalhealthblogger #mentalhealthrecovery #mentalhealthwarrior #inspirationalmonday #wordsofwisdom #motivationalmonday #wordstoliveby #mindset #wordsofencouragement #b4stage4 #healthyholidays #holidayspirit #holidaystress #holidays2018
